On behalf of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, you are invited to participate as a key partner in our annual fundraiser and auction for Touch of Nature, the Buffalo Tro! We need your help in order to make Touch of Nature the best it can be for SIU Carbondale and the local community. It is our hope you will choose to participate and help build our signature fundraising event. Guests include former staff, university officials, community members, and others who have a strong commitment to helping Touch of Nature succeed.
Last year our dinner and auction was a sellout. With funds raised we were able to purchase new air conditioners for Camp Little Giant cabins and three new challenge elements: the elevator, a zip line, and a pamper pole. When you attend this year’s event, we hope you will take time to see these elements in action!
We appreciate that you receive many requests to participate in events. However, we believe the location, attendee base, and great atmosphere make this event a unique opportunity. We want to continue to raise funds to go towards facility enhancements to improve Touch of Nature and its beautiful surroundings.
